A campus dedicated to dance
PNSD Rosella Hightower’s campus in Cannes-Mougins is fully dedicated to dance. Secondary and undergraduate students can live on campus, recieving their dance education alongside their academic studies in the same place.
Dance studios
Large, modern, bright and fully equipped studios are accessible on our Mougins campus.
PSND Rosella Hightower also has a dance studio in Cannes, on rue de Colmars, mainly dedicated to our children’s dance classes and the Rosella Hightower Cannes Junior Ballet. Since 2021, our school has also had a studio at the Méliès Campus.
Academic Education
Students attending PNSD Rosella Hightower benefit from our partnership with Collège International and Lycée International de Valbonne. The students are registered in the French National Education curriculum ; however, academic timetables have been adapted and are delivered on campus. All schooled students register for the French Baccalaureate majoring in the following school subjects : Economic and Social Sciences, Mathematics and English in the Contemporary World.
Coordination of school services, tutoring and homework assistance for boarding students, enable PNSD Rosella Hightower secondary students to achieve excellent results in exams (with nearly 100 % pass rates for Brevet des collèges and Baccalaureate exams every year). Undergraduate students pursue degrees with Université Toulon Var, achieving consistently high results.
Boarding
Our campus features a 100-bed boarding facility with double bedrooms equipped with air conditioning.
A collective living area is available for our residents, with a study area that includes a documentation service, and a lounge area with a piano and games. The buildings are provided with a Wi-Fi connection.
The boarding is open 7 days a week with 24-hour surveillance and access control. It also offers cleaning services, and a laundry room with self-service washing machines available for residents.
School canteen
School catering service is operated on campus by the API company. It offers meal services – breakfast, lunch and dinner – 7 days a week, with menus prepared on-site and tailored to the needs of daily dance practice. Students have the option to access our catering service occasionally, on a half-board basis, or on a full-board basis.
Health Center
Dancer’s health is an integral part of our educational project at PNSD Rosella Hightower. PNSD has established a partnership with the Dance Medicine Research Association which operates our health centre available on campus. Our health centre offers somatic practices (such as Pilates and the Alexander technique), the presence of a health coordinator, and access to a network of health practitioners specialised in treating dancers.
Cultural synergy: Théâtre Scène 55
PNSD Rosella Hightower campus neighbours Scène 55, the City of Mougins municipal cultural hub. Its programme, centred on dance, enables our students to regularly meet professionals and attend shows. Its 600-seat theatre welcomes some of PNSD Rosella Hightower’s events, notably the Cartes Blanches show by undergraduate students, public exams for the achievement of the Higher National Diploma in Professional Dance Performance Practice (DNSP) and some of the shows of the Rosella Hightower Cannes Junior Ballet.
The PNSD Rosella Hightower on the George Méliès Campus
Inaugurated in 2021, the Cannes University Campus George Méliès offers an exceptional location and an unprecedented environment in the Côte d’Azur area. A long-time partner of Université Côte d’Azur, PNSD Rosella Hightower was given the opportunity to establish one of its dance studios at the heart of the Méliès Campus.
Mainly dedicated to our students pursuing the Dance Teacher State Diploma (DE), they complete their curriculum in a unique and innovative college. The D.E students thus occupy classrooms for theoretical courses and a dance studio for training needs.
