Presentation and Students 24-25
Since its creation in 1984, the Cannes Junior Ballet Rosella Hightower gathers the students in their senior year of pre-professional training, pursuing the Higher National Diploma in Professional Dance Performance.
Their programme blends pieces from the great repertoire, creations by young choreographers and reprises or creations by recognized international choreographers.
A tool of professional insertion, the junior ballet enables student-dancers to develop their unique artistic personality through encounters with creators (choreographers) and stage experience. Thus, they are confronted with the realities of choreographic artists’ careers, while preparing to enter the professional world.
